Multiple award-winner Brent Hill is a WAAPA Acting graduate, trained in France with mentor Phillippe Gaulier, is a National Theatresports Champion alumni, and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Performing Arts) from Curtin University.
He is currently working on Eddie Perfect's Vivid White for Melbourne Theatre Company.
Brent starred as Lonny in the Australian premiere production of Rock of Ages for New Theatricals, gathering a Green Room Award for Best Leading Actor and a Helpmann nomination. Recently he was nominated for another Helpmann for Best Actor in a Musical for the Hayes Theatre production of Little Shop of Horrors. Before this he returned from Seoul, Korea where he was part of the international touring cast of Once (dir. John Tiffany), also playing Svec in the Australian cast/orchestra for Melbourne Theatre Company and GFO, receiving a Green Room Award for Best Ensemble and an individual Helpmann nomination.
Brent portrayed Leo Bloom in The Producers (dir. Dean Bryant & Andrew Hallsworth) for The Production Company, then the same team again for Pirates of Penzance and Jerry’s Girls. Brent last toured Australia with Twelfth Night (dir. Lee Lewis) for Bell Shakespeare.
Some previous theatre credits include: The Distance From Here (Griffin Theatre); Summerfolk (Bob Presents); A Number (PTC); Dreamsong (Red Heifer); The Speechmaker (MTC/Working Dog); and won an Actors Equity Guild Award for Best Newcomer for Five Unenviable Lives (Blue Room Theatre).
